David Chesnut, D.D.S.
 
David Chesnut graduated from Ohio State University with a B.S. in Microbiology and obtained his D.D.S. in 1980 from the Ohio State College of Dentistry. Dr. Chesnut spent 30 years in the U.S. Naval reserves from which he retired in 2001.

Dr. Chesnut and his wife Ruth, who has been an R.N. at Clinton Memorial Hospital for 26 years, reside in Wilmington with their three children. Caitlin is a 2005 graduate of Wilmington High School, attending Ohio Weslyan University. Ryan is also a 2005 Wilmington Graduate attending the Ohio State University. Kyle will be graduating from Wilmington High School in 2008.

Dr. Chesnut is a member of the Ohio Dental Association, American Dental Association, Dayton Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Chesnut has many hobbies including golf, skiing, bicycling, woodworking, and his 1968 Beetle Convertible.

Jody W. Ames, D.D.S.

Jody Ames graduated from the Ohio State University Dental School in 1996. He then returned to his hometown of Wilmington, Ohio, to begin practicing with David Chesnut, D.D.S.

Dr. Ames, his wife Tracy and their three children reside in Wilmington, where they are very much involved in the community. They are very focused on doing their part to enhance the education of children in Wilmington and Clinton County by being board members of Wilmington City Schools Foundation and Clinton County MRDD. Dr. Ames also teaches dental education to many of the preschools and elementary schools in the area.

Dr. Ames, a general dentist, is a member of the Dayton Dental Society, Ohio Dental Association, American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. These associations sponsor programs in which Dr. Ames readily participates. These programs expand his knowledge in the most efficient and current ways in dental treatment to benefit all patients.
